Beada 6.8 in weird issue

Post by tuftybruno » Wed Nov 12, 2025 11:55 am

Hi... need some help with my Baada panel. In short, regardless how many times I reflash my panel, beada service tool senses my panel as a Model 5 instead of 6 but yet the resolution is noted properly. With that said, it leads to Win11 also detecting the panel as a Model 5 and subsequent software (AIDA, InfoPanel) get the Model 5 and its associate resolutions (which do not match my actual screen).

I attached some images that I hope help. Any assistance is very appreciated.

For reference, I have followed:

https://www.esky-sh.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=955

with files from:
https://onedrive.live.com/?redeem=aHR0c ... 633C899FB1

I have also manually tried to flash to older versions but none seems to change the symptom/problem

Let me know if there is any other information I can provide. Thank you in advance again.

This issue may caused by a partial upgrade/downgrade. Orders were mis-aligned during operation.

I suggest you to do a thoroughly downgrade.

When you are doing procedures in Section 4, please remember write pmf file to 2 ext4 partions on eMMC, instead of first ext4 partition which stated in guidance.

Hi - thank you for the reply.

I had tried that prior because I had seen the same post you sent and I tried again just now to make sure to flash both partitions. Unfortunately, I have the same outcome. Beada Service Tool still sees as a Model 5 (but model 6 resolution). Any thoughts, is there a different process for the my model?

Thank you again in advance.

It shows 7.10 after flashing. I am able to upgrade to 7.18 but still notes as model 5 (sent in previous screenshot).

Thanks!

Not sure if relevant, in win11 device manager the device Hardware Ids are:

USB\VID_4E58&PID_1001&REV_0718
USB\VID_4E58&PID_1001

Based on quick research I believe the NXElec is suppose to be: VID_1FFB

Looks like your environment was polluted seriously by some mis-operations and a normal reset can not recover it. We will provide a whole eMMC image to let you rewrite the device. Will let you know soon.

You can force control board to USB memory stick mode and write the image file to it.
