Problem with building SDK in PB 5.0

I cannot build an SDK for the latest mini2440 release (20090817). I get the infamous error listed below. I have tried the fixes suggested by MS and explicitly setting the sysgen variable to 1, to no avail. Has anyone run into this problem?

Have you been able to build a working nk0.bin image ?

Yes, I have been able to build a nk.bin image. I answered my own question over the week-end: Don't use Windows 2000 when using PB 5.0. Stick with Windows XP!

or Vista..

I had strange UI issues with vista. Where I couldnt add any controls to the image as they all showed up grey.
I could build images fine, but couldnt modify it.
Ended up using a vpc image of winxp.
