BeadaPanel 5C stopped working. White flashing screen

Had this since November of 2023 and its been a bit hit or miss since then but generally can display the stuff I needed through AIDA64.

Recently it stopped displaying and just shows blank screen with the white backlight flashing on and off so I dont know if its trying to boot and cant but based on other threads it SEEMS like my firmware was having issues. I was able to see it in device manager as BeadaPanel under USB devices.

I connected through the beadapanel tools website and selected firmware update from 812 to 820. I dont think it completed properly after I selected the reboot option because since I tried doing this firmware update it seems to have made the screen worse and now it blinks with blue light but I cannot find it anywhere in device manager. I also dont see the SD card in disk management or diskgenius or this PC.

When I removed the SD card, the screen would be seen as an unknown device with no drivers installed but as soon as I connected the screen while the SD card was in, it goes back to being completely unrecognized by my device manager.

I was emailed the firmware update tools but I dont know how to use it if I cant connect to the panel anymore through BeadaTools and if I cant connect to the internal SD. PLEASE HELP I have no idea how to resolve this. I honestly just want to add images to my internal SD to always play on loop when the screen turns on for aesthetics of my case. I'm not even trying to use AIDA64 anymore since I only want to use internal photo on loop but I cant even get the screen to work now.

I followed those instructions but I ended up having a 2nd drive letter under FAT32 so I deleted it and now I have this. Still doesn't seem to boot the screen up. How would I add the correct firmware to get screen booting up again?

It also seems like since doing this the blue light no longer flickers when I have the Beadapanel plugged into USB

And it looks like the EXT4 partitions are missing whatever firmware or boot files were in there. IDK if that is related to why its LED isnt coming on and why previously when it was coming on, the screen was just flashing with backlight on

Ok I went through the steps to create the partition and hit no to formatting the FAT32 drive (it still seems to have assigned a drive letter automatically).

I have the two files on the FAT16 partition also which i attached a screenshot of.

The Beadapanel seems to have the files on it now but I dont know if I'm missing any other files because I dont see a link I can access to download files if I need to restore an image for the EXT4 partitions. Unless that isnt necessary.

BeadaPanel when connected to PC does nothing. No blue flickering light, screen does nothing, no backlight, no USB device noticed in Device manager and it is no longer listed under other devices with the yellow triangle like it was before. Not sure what to do next.

Had you copied the 2 files (zImage and winter-5c.dtb) from one drive to FAT16 partition?

Yes I believe so, I'll attach a screenshot of the FAT16 partition files you mentioned, what my partitions look like, and the Primary EXT4 partition which has the .tar files inside of it.

But those 2 files are in the FAT16 partition as you said, FAT32 is empty aside from the system volume information hidden folder. And I dont see the OneDrive link anymore but let me know if those files are not the right ones, they seem to match so I believe its correct but I dont know if I used the same OneDrive link you mentioned since I found the link in another thread but it was a folder for a winter 812 that had those files and said it was for the 5C boot.. so I believe they are the correct files.

I also dont know if this is an issue but the FAT16 partition shows the text for file system in red letters but the other partitions are in black text for file system, not sure if this is a bad thing.
