Re: BeadaPanel 2W sd card image restoration ?
I just sent an email back to the support address if that's what you call "seller", which is surprising because they already directed me to this forum. I thought you were in contact with technical support.
[SOLVED] BeadaPanel 2W sd card image restoration ?
Hello,
I will follow up on this issue.
Firstly, this forum is useless. You need to contact support via their email address, as they will be able to help you properly.
Second, the procedure is as follows (in my case):
- Support will send you an intermediate firmware (to be flashed with win32diskImager) so that the screen is recognized by the beadatools online tool.
- Go to the "Test screen" tab and take a screenshot of the serial number and firmware version, then send it to support.
- Support will send you the new final image file to flash, which in my case was version 826 at that time.
- Once flashed with win32diskimager, aida64 worked but infopanel did not. Support told me to update to firmware 828 with the beadatools tool.
- The beadatools tool was problematic in my case (unable to use online update mode), so I downloaded the update file manually https://www.nxelec.com/service/download ... 510051.mns and then imported it into beadatools. If it doesn't work on your computer, try using another one. It worked for me after three attempts.
From that point on, the display is version 828 and works perfectly with AIDA64 and InfoPanel.
I've spared you the extra steps by only listing what actually worked with the support.
The support team was very responsive and attentive, thank you to them.
Thank you & have a nice day.
